Alicia was born and raised in the Dallas area and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2013 at Baylor University. She worked at Parkland Hospital in Dallas in the Neonatal ICU for over 7 years. She loved working closely with parents and teaching them how to safely care for their infants and getting ready for them to take them home.

In 2021, she graduated from Texas Woman’s University with her Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Pediatric Primary Care. She spent most of her studies on childhood obesity, health involving low-income communities and minorities, and family-centered care.

She is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board as a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and licensed by the Texas Board of Nursing. She is able to perform wellness exams and diagnose and treat common illnesses from birth to adolescence. She is a member of NAPNAP (National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners). She enjoys educating patients and their families about preventative health, developmental milestones, and weight management.

In her free time, She loves traveling, watching sports, volunteering at her church, and spending time with family and friends, especially her 2 nieces. Alicia primarily sees patients at our Forney Location.
